About Us

Located in central Mississippi we are an  Underfoot Breeder dedicated to raising one litter at a time with alot of love and patience.  As a breeder we aspire to produce puppies which will grow to be Ambassadors for the Cane Corso breed. Our lives evolves around or dogs and we wouldn't have it any other way.                                                         Introductions:  In pack order there is myself Reese, my 6 year old daughter Mersadie, Jersey our Corso Dam, my husband Thad and lastly our Stud Corso Memphis. Everyone plays a role:  I'm the dicipline, my daughter the Corso child proofer and my husband the chew toy to all!

Our priorities are health, temperment, puppy placement, customer education and lifetime support for you and your puppy.  Alot of time goes into or puppies and we are always learning.  Our litters are raised within our home as Family Members from day one.  There isn't a hiccup or yelp that goes unnoticed.  Puppy rearing is a full time job which consists of NEVERENDING cleaning, temperment testing, submission training, socializing, supervised playing, car rides, feeding, bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, house training and again more cleaning...

I know our puppies inside and out when it comes to temperment confirmation and personality. Our enviroment produces the best start to a well rounded pup already very loved, a little spoiled and already desensitized to many elements to insure a smooth transition from our home to yours.

We absolutley require every pup to be companion first and formost above anything else!  We take our puppy placement very seriously as these are our babies first.

If you are looking for a discounted pup or a cheaper Cane Corso go somewhere else.  We will never place a puppy to a Breeding Program which exclusively kennels it's dogs or to people whom want an outside dog only.  Our pups are never to be on a chain regardless. To do so will be a violation of our contract. Past puppies have gone on to be amazing Family Guardians, Therapy Dogs, Working Dogs and current Show Dogs.

We do not barder on pricing: if someone is wanting a deal I firmly believe this is indicative of the care they will be providing for the puppy.  We spare no expense when it comes to health or nutrition for our dogs and we expect the same commitment and values of our Puppy Parents.

About the Breed

The Cane Corso is a fantastic breed which displays so much affection and whom bonds very closely to their people.  They will protect their own with their life or with their death.  They have an unmatched loyalty to their children, and make the most gunuine playmate whom is devoted  like non other.  It is my opinion that the Cane Corso is at it's best when it's has child to love, protect and entertain- this is thee best chilren's breed.   The Cane Corso is a dominating breed in size alone which requires a disiplined home with concistency boundaries and love.

They have a natural Guardian Instinct which comes with security, but goes hand in hand with Owner Responsibility.  It is fair to say that any breed this size has the potential to be dangerous , so training is a must.  It is never okay for a Cane Corso puppy to growl or display any dominance towards a family member more than once .  Keep in mind, when training, that a dog must display bad behavior before they can learn it is wrong.   So in those first few days after bringing your puppy home nipping growling and food possessing  are excellent training opportunities!  With all guardian breeds I recomend protection train, especially if raise you puppy to be a one family dog.  Guardian training creates a predictable dog inwhich you can turn off.

The Corsi is very attentive to their Masters, with an incredible attention span, making them easy to train at a young age.  Corsi have a "wanting to please attitude" which also makes them quick learners. Like their cousin Mastiffs Canes tend to be docile- and are just as satisfied to curl up on the couch . They do well in an apartment if walked daily.  Yet, they are insanely athletic, very agile and are beautiful to watch run, they also make a great running buddy.

They have a velvet coat which is easy to maintain.

They are also excellent with other animals if raised and socialized with them.

Many sites claim the Cane Corso is a Dry Mouth Mastiff, I couldn't disagree more!  Dry mouth to me insinuates that they do not drool.  But trust me they do.  However,  it is minimal compared to mollasor breeds. Drooling, in my experience, is only an issue at feeding times, the water bowl, when under stress, or when excessively excited.   Other than that they hardly ever drool.
